Deciding what to wear to go for a workout shouldn’t be difficult. After all, you’re only there to sweat aren’t you? There are many different types of workout pants. From small running shorts, to baggy yoga pants, deciding what to wear to each workout can be a bit overwhelming. However, having plenty of different options, cuts, materials and styles, can mean that you have a pair of workout pants for every occasion.
When picking what pants to wear to your yoga class there are a few things you need to keep in mind; breathable, stretchy and opaque. Yoga classes might seem to be nice and slow, but you will be feeling the burn and heat within no time, particularly if you choose a bikram class. You’ll also need to look out for clothes that have enough stretch that you can downward dog without showing off your butt crack or bra. Plus, although it doesn’t need to be said remember to check how see through your pants are. We recommend: Side mesh leggings; skin tight, breathable and stretchy. Perfect. I bought some great cheap side mesh leggings for the best price here; https://www.easyprices.com/fashion/side-mesh-leggings-best.
It’s a lot easier and harder to plan what to wear when running. Easier, because you can pretty much wear whatever you like. Harder, because if you run outdoors it will be weather dependent. If you’re serious about running things to think about include; breathable, fit, comfort. Running is serious work, which means you will sweat, and your skin needs to breathe. Look out for compression pants or dry fit pants. You will also need to make sure that your workout pants fit well, as you need them to be tight enough and high enough they won’t fall down.
We recommend: Capri leggings or knickers. Just below the knee so they flatter your thighs, but short enough they help keep you cool. I purchase my best capri leggings from an online classified ads store here; https://www.easyprices.com/fashion/womens-capris-best
Gym workouts are a great time to try out new workout outfits and wear whatever you feel best in. However, there are still some general rules of thumb that are good to follow. Don’t wear anything that is too baggy or loose around your wrists and ankles. Baggy clothing can easily get caught and stuck between equipment, or caught between your feet after a push up. Depending on your gym you might also find that certain clothes can help to keep you cool.
We recommend: Wearing whatever you like! We like short running shorts, and leggings, but it’s up to you. If you are not sure what to wear look online for cheap used items to trial. I’ve found some of the best bargains on www.easyprices.com
