A creation that does not neglect the smallest detail, creating an idyllic atmosphere that has as its starting point the inspiration of the Andalusian community with fashion. and the Old Convent of Santa María de los Reyes, or what is the same, a dreamy enclave founded in 1611 as a home for barefoot Dominican nuns, and which also served as a secret prison for the Holy Inquisition.
An impeccable metaphor that embraces every point of the Spanish designer’s new proposal and that brings together 10 creations that become works of art in their own right. The savoir-faire and craftsmanship are reflected in designs that are far from conventional and embrace fabrics such as a cotton and linen blend.satin, twill, crepe, organza, jacquard with golden threads and the finest tulle.
In the same way, as part of the richness of an indisputable DNA, the garments are crowned with small white ceramic pieces by the Córdoba ceramist Luis Torres in suspenders, buttons, belts and other accessories. The veils, or in Leandro’s own words, those thin and fragile-looking layers, surround the bride’s face, designed in different sizes on a tulle base, and one of them, adorned with machine-made floral motifs. The designer’s collaborative essence is reflected in Lina Osorio’s headdresses, Rosita Fernández’s gloves and the cloth flowers contemporary Kabuki crafts.
