The average salary of directors of Ibex 35 companies in 2021 was 14.5 times higher than that of their staff, a gap between the two salaries that increased by almost 2 points compared to 2020, according to the study presented this Thursday by CCOO • Evolution of good governance indicators in Ibex 35′ companies, which shows that 13 Spanish companies recorded an above-average index.

Specifically, the multinationals that recorded the highest remuneration of their directors in relation to the average salary of the workforce were Inditex (83.9 times), Cie Automotive (51 times) and Banco Sabadell (50.4 times), while the smallest distances were recorded in Aena (0.7 times) and Solaria (1.4 times).
